Can buccal fat removal be reversed?
Not directly — the removed fat doesn't grow back. Cheek filler or fat grafting can partially restore mid-face fullness, but the natural buccal fat pad's contour can't be perfectly recreated. Treat as permanent.

Best candidates have round, full mid-face that hasn't responded to weight loss, are in their mid-20s to 30s, and have stable adult weight. Naturally thin faces, patients in their 40s+, or those with BDD risk should reconsider — the procedure can age you.
What's the difference between buccal fat removal and masseter Botox?
Buccal fat removal slims the cheek/mid-face; permanent. Masseter Botox slims the lower face/jaw by reducing chewing-muscle bulk; reversible (lasts 3–6 months). They target different anatomy and produce different aesthetic results.
